KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
?The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of the mathematics curriculum at Wellington College Hangzhou.
?The teacher will ensure that the subject is delivered in a way that provides coverage, progression and continuity by effectively working with an international teaching partner. The teacher will also be required to carry out other such duties as the Head of Primary or the Deputy Head of Primary may reasonably direct from time to time. ?Lead the IT planning process and ensure integration with the overall yearly non-academic strategic development plan (NASDP) and the group IT development plan.

Department Leadership
?Provide strong leadership and direction for the IT department and establish clear objectives for the team.

?Ensure prompt, high-quality service and lead to continuous high user satisfaction of staff, pupils, and parents with the IT provisioning of the school.
EdTech Support
?Collaborate with educational staff to support and develop educational technology initiatives.

?Provide training and support for EdTech systems utilised by staff and pupils.
IT Infrastructure Support and Development
?Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and management of all IT hardware, infrastructure, and networks.
?Ensure uptime and availability of all school systems and technology infrastructure meet the service level expectations set by SLT and Group IT leadership.
?Take ownership of all school-based servers and other general computing devices.
?Work with the central office IT team to maintain and manage the school's cloud-based technology resources (server, applications, databases, etc.).

?Lead the recruitment process, practice and daily operations.

Visa Management
?Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, and coordinate the expat work permit application.
?Support pre-onboarding communication with staff, necessary guidance and information sharing about working in Wellington College Hangzhou.
?Oversee the visa application process for expats, including documentation and communication with relevant government authorities.
?Ensure timely and accurate processing of visa applications, renewals, and other visa-related documents.
?Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and regulations and advise the company on potential impacts and necessary actions.
?Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations related to hiring and employment.
Onboarding and Teacher Apartments
?Develop and implement an effective onboarding program for both local and expat staff to ensure a smooth transition into the school community.
?Assist expat employees with relocation logistics, including housing, transportation, and acclimatisation to the local culture.
?Serve as the primary point of contact for expat employees regarding any apartment-related issues.
?Develop and maintain relationships with staff to ensure their needs are being met and to address any concerns they may have.
